Chamber music concerts for the whole family
The trio will be joined by special student guest violinists Elisabeth “Elsa” Kantz and Vivien Stuart who will perform “Koncert Polka” by Hans Christian Lumbye accompanied on piano by Molly Petrik.
Kantz started to play the violin at age six. Now a home-schooled senior in high school who is planning to pursue a degree in violin pedagogy in college, Kantz already has seven violin students of her own. She loves to sing, play and compose fiddle tunes for fun. For the second year in a row she is serving as concertmaster of the UNH Youth Symphony. Kantz lives in Ossipee, NH with her parents, three younger siblings and 12 chickens. When she is not studying or practicing her violin, you may find her on the ski slopes or behind the counter at Seven Suns café in Wolfeboro.
Originally from Arizona, Stuart started playing the violin at age five. She is currently a 7th grader at Oyster River Middle school with special interests in french, math and chamber orchestra. An avid soccer player on the ORMS soccer team, she is also in her fourth year with UNH Youth Orchestra. Vivien lives in Durham with her parents, older brother Eli, and her two beloved two dogs, Pepper and King.
